October 12-15 - New Trail, Chippewa River Segment, Chippewa County

Mobile Skills Crew Season Finale!!

In Mid-October finds daylight slips away like a river in fog.  All year we look ahead then suddenly find we’ve come full circle.  So grab a cup of hot coffee and warm clothes; it’s time to make your way to Brunet Island State Park and open the “Chippewa River Segment” of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail!

We’ve traveled from Chippewa to the New Wood to Holy Hill; from Table Bluff and Lake Michigan and back again.  Thanks to you and hundreds of other volunteers we’ve built or upgraded eleven miles of the IAT to be a premier hiking experience this year.  Two more miles, miles that knocked us around in May and said ‘come back when the colors turn’, are calling.

Click on registration form , complete the registration form, and email it to sharondziengel@yahoo.comThis let’s us know when you’ll arrive, how long you anticipate staying, and what meals we should plan with YOU in mind.  Questions? Please call Richard Smith at 715.967.2164.
