Ice Age Trail Thru Hike Journal

10:32 AM Status - To much time in the Laundromat
Hi Friends Of The IAT,
I didn’t actually talk to
John today; he called me and left a message while I was working out at the
athletic club. He was calling from the Laundromat in Cornell, WI (Map 96e)
where he was drying out his clothes and wet gear from all the rain they were
getting in north western Wisconsin. In fact he said he did the samething
yesterday in Gillman, WI. He said he got pretty wet and was just trying to
get out of the rain. He sounds extremely upbeat about his situation, really
positive about his hike. Tonight he will be staying at Brunet Island State
Park (Map 96e), plans to sleep in tomorrow and be back on the trail by
9:00-10:00 am. Nancy Frank will be meeting him tonight. Thank you Nancy
and company for all of your fabulous support. He plans on calling me in a
couple of days from the Ice Age Interpretive Center (I think he means the
Chippewa Moraine Reserve Visitor Center (Map 97e)).
Happy Trails,
“Biscuit”
