10:00 AM Status – He is one with nature

Hi Friends of the IAT; 

John was up at 4:45AM today and back out on the sandbar in the Wisconsin River to watch the sunrise and checkout the amazing wildlife.  He reports that we should wait to see the pics that he has taken.  John noted that out on the sandbar the bugs were almost non-existent. 

At the time of this mornings call John was past Portage, WI and was very near the old Indian agency house (Map 45e).   His destination for today is John Muir County Park in Marquette County (Map 46e).  He is presently following the Portage Canal and then will follow the Fox River. 

John had a lot of excitement in his voice – tomorrow he will be crossing into Waushara County, which is just south of Waupaca County his home turf.   Go John! Go!
