What an awesome MSC project (October 16-19), building the first leg of
the western bifurcation of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. While
crews of volunteers worked on building new trail through the University
of Wisconsin – Baraboo campus and blazing trail through Baraboo, WI
Gravy and I were busy teaching 10 classes of 7th graders
about the Ice Age Trail. Who knows maybe in twenty years a few might
become MSCers or through hikers of the IAT. If you get a chance come
and visit this new section of trail, the Baraboo Bluffs and Baraboo
River Walk Trail are a couple of real gems as the IAT heads west around
Glacial Lake Wisconsin. In the mean time check out the

Mobile Skills Crew Mission
- The mission of the Ice Age Park and Trail
Foundation Mobile Skills Crew is to educate and empower volunteers in
building a premier footpath known as the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.

On August 27th 2008 Biscuit and Gravy completed a through hike
of the Ice Age
Trail in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the IAT.
