years projects; and some chainsaw safety training were just a few of the
many things that happened at this years IAT Mobile Skills Crew annual
winter rendezvous held at the Central Wisconsin Environmental Center in

Biscuit and Gravy to through hike the Ice Age
Trail in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the IAT.
They will be starting April 20th and will be departing from
this years Ice Age Park And Trail Foundation’s annual membership
conference at Camp Matawa, Campbellsport,
WI directly to the trailhead at
Potawatomi State Park
in Door County. You can follow along on their journey at
www.trailjournals.com/BiscuitAndGravy . Your help is needed, If
you can be of any assistance please contact them by e-mail at
dseitz6@wi.rr.com or by cell phone at 414-339-0695. The sort of
help they need is with a place to pitch their tent, water to re-fill
their water bottles, a hot shower, and access to a computer to update
their trail journal. Any or all of the above would be appreciated.
Chimney
Logs - Like many other IAT volunteers "Cowboy" Dave
Ditlefsen has been hard at work getting ready for the start of the
upcoming MSC trail project season. Cowboy wanted to share this
shot of Chimney Logs that he recently laid up on his property.
Come attend an MSC project and you'll find out how cool it is when a
chimney log is added to the nightly fire.
